Ash LaVictor knew she wanted to be a writer before she knew how to read or write her name. Her writing journey began with ripping up pages of her journal and recording her lyrics on a portable cassette player until she started to collect her prose and poetry in composition books.
Ash spent her first eighteen years in the immense beauty of Northern Michigan but has since lived in all directions of the lower peninsula, going wherever the universe guides her. When she is not reading or writing, she works in finance at a non-profit organization and is a program director of a children’s summer camp.
